A lifelong Montgomery, Alabama native, Trey Henig brings over 25 years of insurance industry experience to his role as Principal and Senior Risk Advisor at Thompson Insurance. Since joining the Thompson Insurance team in 2009, Trey has built a reputation as a trusted advisor committed to delivering thoughtful, comprehensive risk solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Outside the office, Trey is deeply rooted in his community and family. He and his wife, Julia, have been married for 17 years and are the proud parents of two sons — Johnny, a sophomore at Auburn University, and Hayes, an eighth grader at Montgomery Academy.
Trey’s commitment to the Montgomery community extends beyond his professional work. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Montgomery and is an active member of the House Corp for the Alabama Alpha Mu Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. When he’s not at the office or serving his community, Trey enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, and spending quality time with his family.
