Drew joined Thompson Insurance in August of 2016 as a Commercial Insurance and Surety Bond Risk Advisor. He enjoys working with a variety of different type accounts but especially enjoys working with Construction Risks and being a valuable Contract Surety Bond resource. In addition, he works with various types of industries by helping them lower their, “Total Cost of Risk” by teaching insureds how to leverage safety and compliance resources to help affect positive outcomes related to the overall costs of insurance. He also earned his designation as a Certified Insurance Counselor(CIC) in 2020.
Drew Gunn is a Montgomery native and attended Saint James School until his graduation in 2005. Upon graduation from Saint James, Drew attended the University of Alabama. While at The University he double-majored and obtained undergraduate degrees in Advertising & PR, American Studies, as well as Master’s Degree in Consumer Sciences, completed in 2011. In 2015, he married his wife Adrienne Thompson Gunn and together they have two boys and a dog.
After beginning his career in our Birmingham office he moved to the Montgomery (Home Office) when he and his family moved back to Montgomery in 2023.
